Winter ends early in Chiusa/Klausen. Flowers bloom, nature awakens. Ideal temperatures for riding the South Tyrolean cycle paths. The Säben monastery on the local mountain also offers unique perspectives. The biking season in South Tyrol starts early in spring.
South Tyrolean biking path
96 kilometers worth seeing. The Eisack Valley, with its green hills, quiet small forests and picturesque villages, can be wonderfully explored on two wheels. The section of the cycle path from Munich to Verona also leads you past our hotel and restaurant. Ideal as a stopover for resting before you pursue your journey and for visiting Chiusa/Klausen. Eisack Valley White Wine Days - Sabiona
White wine is at home in Chiusa/Klausen. It finds the best conditions on the slopes of the Säbens Abbey, from Neustift Abbey to the southern Eisack Valley. At the end of May, everything in Chiusa/Klausen is all about white wine. Take a glass and stroll through the town's alleys to taste the best wines and allow yourself to be pampered with culinary delights in the Walthergarten.
