Autumn in the Eisack Valley
The power of the leaves and plants is now transferred to the fruits.
A blaze of colors and pleasant temperatures characterize the Eisack Valley autumn. Hike on the Kastanienweg that leads directly through Chiusa/Klausen and stop in one of the rustic Törggele lounges where you can taste the new wine and enjoy typical South Tyrolean hospitality.
Törggelen
Charming farms and taverns invite you. Traditionally, you hike through the colorful autumn landscape, stop by and taste the new wine and products from the farm.
The "Gasseltörggelen" is toasted and celebrated, and Chiusa/Klausen is not called the Törggele capital for nothing. Many wine events will bring you closer to local and South Tyrolean wine.

Autumn in the Eisack Valley not only has a lot to offer in culinary terms. The colorful forests and fruit-bearing chestnut trees are a wonderful attraction when hiking or mountain biking.
