Every year in late September, Chiusa/Klausen greets the start of the Törggele season. The entire city is turned into one big Törggele parlour with traditional food from the Valle Isarco/Eisacktal valley and delicious wines. When autumn comes, expect the Hotel Walther von der Vogelweide to spoil you with barley soup, Schlutzkrapfen, homemade sausage with cabbage, jam doughnuts, chestnuts and many other tasty local creations, too.
